The Met Office has issued a weather warning for wind across Northern Ireland, including Co. Fermanagh, from this afternoon (Thursday, January 12) until the early hours of tomorrow morning (Friday, January 13).
The yellow weather warning is in place from 3pm today until 3am tomorrow morning, with the Met Office saying that strong winds may bring some disruption to transport and infrastructure.
Outlining what to expect, a Met Office spokesperson said: "Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely.
"Probably some bus and train services [will be] affected, with some journeys taking longer."
They added that delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges are likely and some short-term loss of power and other services is possible.
"It’s likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves," adedd the Met spokesperson.
