A Christmas tree festival hosted by Lisnaskea Methodist Church was a popular attraction for families over the Christmas period when it was hosted from December 7 to 11.
The trees were striking, reflecting the ethos of certain groups taking part, with many different groups represented such as church groups, charities and indeed, music bands, with Lisnaskea Silver Band’s tree featuring a coronet proving to be particularly striking.
While the Cornerstone and the Pantry used kitchen staples to form their tree in a quirky design, South East Fermanagh Foundation used knitted poppies to form their tree.
The well-received event was held in aid of Parkinson’s Support Fermanagh, and Marie Curie.
