Matthew Coalter, who was in a serious crash last month has spoken "a few words" in recent days.

The 26-year-old from Enniskillen was involved in a road traffic collision at the Silgo Road area of Letterbreen on Sunday, April 14.

A spokesperson for Brookeborough Elim Church shared the news on social media and said: "Praise God almighty - Matthew has spoken a few words last night.

"Please pray that God continues to work miracles in this situation and brings Matthew to a full recovery."

Appealing for the community to continue to keep Matthew and his family in their prayers, the spokesperson added: "Yes, this was incredible to witness but Matthew still has a long way to go . Let this encourage you that your prayers are being heard and answered, and may it fuel us all to keep praying. Our God is more than able.

"Could we ask you for continued prayer, please don’t stop now or pray less, but please push further into God that more positive updates will follow in the days ahead.

"A sincere thank you to each and every one of you who is genuinely praying and lifting Matthew to the Lord Jesus at this time."
