Enniskillen Town 7 Ravenhill YM 0

Enniskillen Town sailed through to the next round of the Junior Cup with a resounding 7-0 win over Ravenhill YM at the Lakeland Forum on Saturday.
Rory Judge’s side hit the ground running with captain Frank Wallace giving them the lead after only three minutes and they never looked back as they went in at the break with a four goal advantage.
The home side then bagged three more goals in the second half to secure their place in the draw for the next round.
Judge was pleased with his side’s performance especially with the young team that he had out on the day.
“I thought we played very well and we’re delighted to be through to the next round. We had a lot of players missing on Saturday but the boys who came in all did well and it was refreshing to see so many young players in the team at the end of the game,” he said.
The result maintains a winning start to the season for Town.
“It has been a decent start and I suppose if we can get a good run going then you don’t know where it might take you. The aim at the minute though is the same as every year and that is to stay in all the competitions into the New Year,” he added.
Town got off to the perfect start to the contest as Mark Little fed Wallace and he outpaced the last defender before producing a superb finish with the outside of the foot for 1-0.
Four minutes later and the home side had doubled their lead as Jake Smith, who had an impressive afternoon in the middle of the park for Town, played in Wallace and he rounded the goalkeeper before slotting home for his and Town’s second.
It was all one way traffic and Town made it 3-0 on the half hour mark as Wallace was taken down in the box and Conor Tummon planted the spot kick to the corner.
Smith then got in on the scoring act before half time. The midfielder started the move in his own half before getting on the end of it in his own box to lash home.
The goals continued to flow after the interval with number five coming courtesy of an own goal before Sean Hynes volleyed home from close range for 6-0.
And Smith wrapped up the scoring from a fine move as he fired to the corner for 7-0.
