Crusaders 5 Ballinamallard 1
Ballinamallard suffered a sixth defeat of the season as they went down 5-1 to champions Crusaders at Seaview today.
The league leaders took the lead took the lead after 16 minutes as Heatley slotted home a Whyte cross but Gavin Dykes' Mallards were back on level terms in the 27th minute through a good finish from Mayse.
However, Crusaders were back in front before the break as Owens headed home to leave it 2-1 at half time.
The Crues went on to boss matters in the second half with McClean nodding in from a corner to extend their advantage.
And Whyte added two more goals as Crusaders ran out 5-1 winners to maintain their five point lead at the top of the table.
The Mallards remain ninth in the Premiership table.
